摘要

Fluoride and fluorocarbons, which are widely used in industrial, agricultural, and home applications, have a substantial impact on human health and the environment. This review gives a thorough review of their effects, concentrating on their transmission mechanisms and implications. We investigate the origins, routes, and destiny of fluoride and fluorocarbons in the environment, including their interactions with air, water, soil, biota, and humans. The paper addresses fluoride’s many effects on human health, ranging from dental and skeletal fluorosis to probable neurological, reproductive, and developmental consequences. Similarly, it discusses the environmental consequences of fluorocarbons, such as ozone depletion, greenhouse gas emissions, and secondary ecological impacts. The assessment emphasises the role of regulatory frameworks, public awareness efforts, and technical breakthroughs in reducing fluoride and fluorocarbon contamination. This review article emphasises the need for regulatory measures, public awareness initiatives, and international collaboration to reduce fluoride and fluorocarbon pollution. It emphasises the need of multidisciplinary research and international cooperation in addressing these global concerns successfully. This review seeks to enhance evidence-based decision-making and promote sustainable management methods for reducing the negative effects of fluoride and fluorocarbons on human and environmental health by synthesising current information and identifying research gaps.
