The research proposes a new approach to utilizing Music Information Retrieval (MIR) in the Music Business Analytics domain, focusing on the relationship between frequency distribution and its impact on listenership in a music genre. The motivation of the work is to retrieve the frequency information from digital media files (audio files) and study the listenership pattern across the Jazz genre. The proposed MIR technique systematically identifies the correlation between specific frequencies and listener engagement by understanding discretized frequency bins and their correlative energy behavior. This work focuses on studying harmonic resonance using spectral analysis of audio files and consumer count indicating business aspects of musical analysis in MIR. The implementation has highlighted the positive outcome indicating the trend between consumer preferences and harmonic resonance. The study integrates domains of psychology and business analytics that facilitate decision-making in content curation and targeted marketing influenced by customer engagement strategies.

摘要
