Digital watermarking of image is an productive watermarking technique to preserve the copyrights of images. There exists only few watermarking techniques which can resist geometric modification attacks such as cropping, rotating, shifting and resizing and that are not completely robust. Overcoming this issue, we implement an effective watermarking technique using image correction codes (ICCs). In this technique, watermark image is combined with the image correction codes (ICCs) and new watermarked image is formed then embedded within a cover image. In addition we apply reverse watermark that can resist cropping attack. During the process of extraction of watermarking, transformed watermarked image can be corrected geometrically through comparing difference among extracted ICCs and original ICCs, so that watermark can be extracted. Cropping attack will be resisted since the cropped portion can be obtained through reverse extraction of watermark. This technique achieves high resistance to the common geometric modification attacks.

摘要
