摘要

This chapter reports on transforming higher education learning and teaching practices at Vietnam National University of Hanoi (VNU). Since 2018, with the collaboration of VNU and the Innovation Academy, University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland, lecturers have participated in the Vietnam–Ireland Bilateral Educational Exchange (VIBE) program. The VIBE program focuses on building the capacity of lecturers at VNU by implementing an entrepreneurial pedagogy. Under this program, capacity building courses for VNU lecturers were conducted, through which VNU lecturers from various VNU campuses were trained to be equipped with an entrepreneurial mindset, pedagogy and innovative teaching practices. VNU VIBERS, a community of practice of entrepreneurial educators, has also been established from the program. During the past few years, the community of practice has contributed to the educational ecosystem of VNU Hanoi and beyond, especially in the transformation of innovative teaching practices and the nurturing of an entrepreneurial mindset among lecturers and students. In this chapter, we discuss the transformation of teaching practices of the VNU lecturers after participating in the VIBE program training. We describe how a training program that originated in Ireland transformed the pedagogy and teaching practices of lecturers at VNU Hanoi. This can be a case to help understand more about entrepreneurial pedagogy to foster creativity in higher education institutions in Vietnam.
