摘要

A surgical treatment approach is applicable to patients with Stage IA1 cervical cancer with vascular invasion and Stage IA2 cervical cancer. Most of these patients are diagnosed as Stage IA1 with negative margins after cone biopsy [1–3]. Research has indicated that squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix has a low probability of skip metastasis, whereas cervical adenocarcinoma may have the potential for skip metastasis. Despite negative margins, we cannot be certain that there are no residual cancerous lesions within the cervix. Therefore, our team still performs this surgery using the suspension technique for the uterus, avoiding the potential tumor dissemination that may result from using a uterine manipulator. During the closure of the vaginal cuff, a circular suture is used to close the vagina, and 200 ml of sterile distilled water is repeatedly used to irrigate the vagina. We make every effort to adhere to the principle of en bloc resection to ensure a tumor-free outcome.
