摘要

The exposure of this space is primarily important for the subsequent visualization of the vesicovaginal space. The vesicocervical space is typically easily identifiable. After opening the reflected peritoneum, the bladder is adequately pulled toward the abdominal side, and the space is sharply dissected within the white, loose connective tissue. Occasionally, when there is severe adhesion of the bladder reflection, and the anatomical layers of this space are unclear, it is recommended to identify the lateral wall of the bladder and open this space from the lateral side toward the midline (Fig. 5.1).
