Sentinel Lymph Node Mapping and Dissection
摘要
Recent data indicates that Sentinel Lymph Node (SLN) biopsy could serve as a valuable strategy to reduce the necessity of performing pelvic lymphadenectomy in individuals diagnosed with early-stage cervical cancer [1, 2]. Prospective studies consistently demonstrate the viability of SLN detection in early-stage cervical cancer patients and propose that the extensive dissection of pelvic lymph nodes can be safely omitted in a substantial portion of these cases [1–10].
