摘要

The distinction of Type B2 from Type B1 radical hysterectomy lies in the selective excision of parametrial lymph nodes. It is indicated for patients with Stage IA1 cervical cancer accompanied by lymphovascular invasion (+) or Stage IA2 patients. Parametrial lymph nodes mainly refer to the lymphatic adipose tissue within the parametrial region, spanning from the cervix to the pelvic lymph nodes. The lateral boundary of pelvic lymphadenectomy is the outer edge of the internal iliac artery. Consequently, parametrial lymph nodes primarily exist within the lateral aspect of the cervix and the medial aspect of the internal iliac artery, including the pelvic lymph nodes situated around the uterine artery, uterine veins, uterine deep veins, internal iliac artery, and internal iliac veins [1, 2].
