Fertility-Sparing Radical Trachelectomy for Cervical Cancer

Surgical indications: For stage IA1 cervical cancer without lymphovascular space invasion (LVSI), a vaginal cervical conization procedure is recommended. For stage IA1 cervical cancer with LVSI, stage IA2, stage IB1, and a small portion of stage IB2, a fertility-preserving radical trachelectomy can be performed either via laparotomy or transvaginally (Recommended by the 2022 Chinese Expert Consensus on Fertility-Sparing Treatment of Cervical Cancer) [1].
