Disenfranchised, Neglected and Violated, The Black American’s Experience of the World

  • Avery Merriel Smith

摘要

This chapter discusses specific ways Black Americans are systematically disenfranchised both individually and as a community by denying her agency. The chapter goes further to look at how the Black person might try to disassociate herself from the greater Black community to regain some semblance of agency. Additionally, it makes the case for love as an ethic.
