Skin cancers are the most common form of cancer, typically occurring on sun-exposed areas in individuals who frequently engage in outdoor activities. They often present as persistent erythematous or pigmented lesions. Early detection is critical to minimize associated morbidity and mortality. This review outlines the risk factors, clinical features, diagnosis, and management of the three most commonly encountered types of skin cancer: basal cell carcinoma (BCC), squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), and melanoma.
