Pulmonary Embolism
摘要
Pulmonary embolism (PE) is a life-threatening respiratory emergency that requires immediate medical attention. Although various clinical decision rules can help estimate the likelihood of PE, current evidence confirms that clinical features alone are insufficient for a definitive diagnosis. Diagnostic confirmation typically requires blood tests and imaging studies. This chapter presents a risk stratification framework tailored for use in ambulatory care, designed to expedite both the diagnosis and early management of PE.
