Infertility
摘要
Infertility treatment begins with thorough history taking, investigations, and counseling. Management depends on the underlying cause and may include medications (e.g., clomiphene, letrozole, metformin), surgery, intrauterine insemination (IUI), or assisted reproductive technologies (ART) like IVF or ICSI. IUI is useful in mild male infertility and unexplained cases, while ovulation induction is common in PCOS. ART is considered when other methods fail, with success influenced by factors such as age, ovarian reserve, sperm quality, and clinic standards. Referral to a urologist may be needed for male-specific issues. Treatment aims to support conception through the most appropriate, evidence-based pathway.
