Breast Cancer
摘要
Breast cancer diagnosis and management require a multidisciplinary approach, involving clinical assessment, imaging, and biopsy. Risk factors include age, genetics, obesity, and alcohol use, while protective factors include breastfeeding and physical activity. Symptoms range from breast lumps to nipple changes. Diagnosis relies on triple assessment and imaging (mammography, ultrasound), with BI-RADS guiding biopsy decisions. Core needle biopsy is preferred. Staging includes receptor testing and lymph node assessment. Treatment involves surgery, radiotherapy, and systemic therapies (chemotherapy, hormonal therapy). Follow-up includes regular clinical review and annual mammography. Urgent referrals are guided by age, symptoms, and suspected malignancy based on national guidelines.
