Application of Geological Genetic Analysis of Oil and Gas Reservoirs in Field Development

The geological genetic analysis of oil and gas reservoirs is required for various studies related to field development. Its accuracy governs how the genesis of oil and gas reservoirs is precisely understood. This chapter introduces the significance and application of the geological genetic analysis of oil and gas reservoirs in field development, with the case studies of the Ying-1 Member volcanic reservoir in the Xudong area of the Songliao Basin, the glutenite reservoir at the northwestern margin of the Junggar Basin, and the sandstone reservoir in the Liaohe Basin.
