Periodically, every hospital and emergency room requires doctors to work there. It is not feasible for every doctor to be available at all times. Video calling requires a computer at a desk to make a connection. Doctors can’t freely travel among hospital rooms, see patients, or even be in the operating room if they want to. To assist in resolving this issue, we have created a prototype of a virtual doctor robot that will allow a doctor to converse with people in distant locations. Doctors may move around the patient easily, see medical reports remotely via video chats, and be anywhere at any time thanks to this robot. Doctors can also virtually move around in other rooms as they choose and can easily move around operating rooms. For simple navigation, the system uses a robotic vehicle with four wheels. The robot also has a control box for the electronics as well as a mount for a tablet or phone. Live video calls are held on a mobile device or tablet. The doctor can control the robot, and control commands are given to the robot controller, which uses Wi-Fi and the Internet to operate. Real-time commands are received, and the robot motors are activated to carry out the requested movement commands.
