The “Belt and Road” initiative is an incentive for China to further integrate into the world economic and cultural systems. Through the initiative, China proposes to seek common ground, reserve differences, coexist in peace and enjoy common prosperity with other countries. China stands ready to learn from other cultures and join hands with countries of different beliefs. If we re-examine the international communication of universities for the elderly through the cultural exchange lens of the “Belt and Road”, we will find that elderly education affords a key platform to promote cultural exchange among all countries. In fact, the international development of education for the elderly is also a kind of multicultural integration.
