Eco-textiles: New Challenges and Future Perspectives

Returning to the beginning of these pages, we have already pointed out that most of the current agro-industrial dynamics are responsible for more than a third of the world's anthropogenic greenhouse gases, with the consequent effects of climate change, occupy about 38% of the world's land surface, and account for about 70% of all freshwater withdrawals, which is becoming critically unsustainable.
