Knitting-Food: A Global Catalogue of Eco-textiles

This chapter is structured as a catalogue of experiments and prototypes in the field of eco-textiles—and eco-products derived from them—with a strong innovative character. Although in the previous chapters we talked about bio-textiles and bio-materials, in this chapter we have decided to extend the research to eco-textiles, i.e. those textiles whose production and characteristics aim to make the product more sustainable, thus reducing its environmental impact compared to products in the same category.
