Eco-textile as (Cr)edible Matters
摘要
Since ancestral times, man has accumulated and superimposed layers of skins and fabrics on his skin to better manage his relationship with the environment (López and Alonso in, Materiales: una historia sobre la evolución humana y los avances tecnológicos. Burgos: Universidad de Burgos, 2020). Wearing clothes—getting dressed—is an exclusively human characteristic. As early hominids migrated towards colder climates, they began to turn to animal skins to protect themselves from the weather (Gómez in, Biotéxtiles, el auxilio de la biología para diseñar un futuro menos dañino, in Bio, May, 14th, 2021, 2021).
