摘要

This study presents a comprehensive framework for soil health assessment adapted for regenerative agriculture in different land uses. The framework integrates key practices such as minimizing soil disturbance, maintaining continuous ground cover, ensuring year-round living roots, and promoting crop diversity and livestock integration. By assessing soil physical, chemical, and biological properties using both traditional and advanced techniques, the framework provides a robust method for assessing soil health. The complexities of developing a reliable soil health index are addressed through multidisciplinary research and establishment of international standards worldwide. In addition, the framework emphasizes the need for training, stakeholder engagement, and supportive policies to encourage widespread adoption of regenerative agriculture. This holistic approach aims to restore soil health, increase biodiversity, and ensure sustainable food production in different farming and land-use contexts.
