YE Danian’s Rules of Water Properties in Minerals
摘要
Minerals contain various forms of water, and several different forms of water can also exist in the same mineral. For example, montmorillonite simultaneously contains hydroscopic water, interlayer water, and constitution water (OH −) (see chapter “Interlayer Water in Minerals and Its Properties,” Fig. 2); sepiolite and palygorskite simultaneously contain hydroscopic water, crystallization water, zeolitic water, and constitution water (OH −) (see chapter “Attapulgite”).
