Due to the complexity and diversity of the microstructure of mineral materials and mineral raw materials (ores), it is quite difficult to describe and demonstrate various structural phenomena in detail one by one. Based on previous studies on ores (Lü 2011), rocks (Liu 1980; Qiu 1985; Xiao 2017), and inorganic nonmetallic materials (Zhu et al. 1994), the main characteristics of the microstructures of some mineral materials and mineral raw materials are briefly introduced as follows.
