There is a variety of mineral materials. Since the 1980s, Chinese scholars have made useful explorations on the classification of mineral materials. For example, Ye (1990) proposed classifying according to the engineering or production methods of mineral materials. This classification compares the production process of mineral materials with the formation process of three major types of rocks: igneous rocks, metamorphic rocks, and sedimentary rocks, and cites the theories of petrology, claiming that the formation of mineral materials, especially polycrystalline silicon mineral materials, mainly has three forms: melting, sintering, and cementation, which correspond to magmatism, metamorphism, and sedimentation, respectively. Accordingly, Han et al. (2006) referred to the corresponding mineral materials as magma condensation-type mineral materials, formed sintering-type mineral materials, and aggregate gelation-type mineral materials.

摘要
