A Scientometric Approach for Basalt Fiber Reinforced Polymer Composite: Present Scenario, Opportunities, and Challenges
摘要
This study utilized Scientometric analysis to analyze the bibliographic data for basalt fiber-reinforced polymer composites (BFRPC). Co-citation, co-occurrence of key words, and scientific mapping are the challenging parts of recent investigation. The Scopus information database was employed to find and collect the information required to fulfill the study's objectives. The 329 publications’ literature documents have been reviewed using the VOSviewer application. Providing information on the abstract, keywords, bibliography, and citations, Significant publishing outlets, keywords, prolific researchers in terms of citations and articles published, top-cited documents, and number of publications actively participating in BFRPC investigations were identified during the data review. The possible uses of BFRPC were also highlighted. In regards to the Scientometric analysis, the most often used terms in research are basalt, fiber reinforced plastic, reinforcement, basalt fiber, and tensile strength. In leading countries, China ranks the highest with 371 publications and is followed by India among 180 countries. The authors have published more than 10 articles on BFRPC and highest author published Wu, z with 61 articles. More influences journals are, construction and building materials with 66 publications. Using VOSviewer, a co-citation network of the cited references for 1100 BFRPC publications was generated in 2010 and 2023. The highest number of citations can be found in 2022 and 2023. This study can help academics create collaborative projects that utilize innovative ideas and techniques due to its quantitative and graphical presentation.
