Effect of Twist Angle on Uncertain Natural Frequency of Composite Spherical Shells with Cutout

摘要

The present study investigates how different twist angles impact the uncertain natural frequencies of composite spherical shells that have cutouts. The analysis utilizes finite element (FE) techniques and focuses on laminated composite spherical shells featuring a square cutout. The current investigation illustrates the initial three unpredictable natural frequencies resulting from the combined fluctuations in both material and geometric properties. The uncertain stochastic free vibration analysis is carried out considering Brute force Monte Carlo simulation. The validation corresponding to the first natural frequency is obtained based on present finite element analysis in conjunction to FE mesh convergence.
