Public Transportation for a Livable and Competitive City: People Expectations and Reality in Dhaka, Bangladesh

Over the past 25 years, the city has experienced a significant population increase of more than 10 million people, presenting a considerable challenge due to its limited capacity. As a result, the livability of the city has been declining, with various issues affecting its quality of life. Among these challenges, the poor quality of public transport stands out.
