The COVID-19 pandemicPandemic has seriously affected the global economyGlobal economy, and India is no exception to this. Silchar, the second largest city in the stateState of Assam, is the headquarters of the Cachar district. Various informal sources found that 2000 small and medium entrepreneurshipEntrepreneurship are functioning in Silchar town. However, during COVID-19, due to the imposed lockdownLockdown (1st phase, which almost lasted for five months), most of them faced an acute financial crisisFinancial crisis, and a few closed their enterprise.
