Future Directions and Emerging Trends in Reproductive Health
摘要
The revolution in Reproductive Health and Medicine is being propelled by the integration of Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, marking a new era of personalized patient care and enhanced outcomes. At the forefront of this transformation is the development of a centralized Data Hub, which amalgamates multifaceted data sources from Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) processes. This consolidation facilitates profound data analysis, fostering informed decision-making and insightful research. Furthermore, the advent of ML Decision Support Systems introduces precision at critical intervention junctures within the ART sequence, significantly elevating success rates. Large Language Models (LLMs) tailored for reproductive medicine enhance patient communication and streamline data handling, presenting a novel approach to patient-centric care. Federated Learning emerges as a pivotal technology, championing data privacy and collaborative research without compromising patient confidentiality. Other notable advancements include the application of Blockchain for secure data transactions and Genome Sequence Modelling, paving the way for genetic insights in reproductive health. The journey from Research to Production encapsulates the challenges of transitioning these ground-breaking technologies into practical clinical applications, emphasizing the need for strategic implementation to fully harness their potential in reproductive healthcare settings. This chapter discusses these emerging trends and directions, detailing the processes and technologies that are setting the course for the future of Reproductive Health and Medicine.
