As nanoscience advanced, the use of nanomaterials in many fields has gained great interest, and this can be related to their superior properties and features as they have excellent catalytic activity, mechanical strength, and high surface area. Nanomedicine is an emerging field that applies nanotechnology to particular medical interventions to prevent, diagnose, and treat diseases. It also aims to harness these unique nanoscale properties to develop new tools for diagnosing and treating diseases precisely at a molecular and cellular level. Nanobioelectrochemistry involves mixing biological and electrochemical concepts with nanotechnology applications aiming to develop more selective and sensitive ways for sensing various biological molecules, improving drug delivery systems, and solving environmental and energy problems. In this chapter, an introduction to nanobiomedicine and nanobioelectrochemistry will be given involving nanomaterials and their use in these fields, in addition to some of their applications sensed in real life.
