摘要

The rapid development of the global economy and the modernization process of industry have all benefited from the extraction and use of traditional energy. Oil and natural gas, as important components of traditional energy, are increasingly important in the political, economic, and security fields. With the increasing demand for oil and natural gas and the decreasing shallow oil and gas resources, the drilling and completion processes are constantly developing towards high-pressure (HP), high-temperature (HT), and complex deep formations. Only with high-yield (HY) extraction methods can we meet the current demand. Halliburton defines high temperature, high pressure, and high-yield (referred to as HPHT-HY in this book) gas wells as wells with wellhead pressure greater than 70 MPa, bottomhole temperature higher than 150 ℃, and production greater than 120 million m3/d.
