Phase Transition in MoS2: Structure, Strategies and Applications
摘要
The two-dimensional (2D) MoS2 attracted much attention due to their rich electronics, optical, and chemical properties. MoS2 having phase transitions have the ability to exfoliate into monolayers and few-layer structures, which would subsequently transform into a significant subfamily of two-dimensional materials. In this chapter, we highlighted the concept of phase transition and strategies to obtain the phase transition in MoS2. The different aspects to trigger the phase engineering such as doping, heterostructures, plasma induction, strain, and synthesis are deliberated. Further, the device applications such as a photodetector, nonvolatile memory devices, electrocatalysts, field-effect transistors, spintronic devices, and magnetoresistance of MoS2 with phase transition are discussed. In last, the assessment of the potential for incipient procedures is discussed.
