A Comparative Study on Perovskite Solar Cell on the Basis of Electron Transport Layer and its Thickness Optimization
摘要
Perovskite is gradually becoming the new promising material in photovoltaics. The performance and stability of the perovskite solar Cells are improved significantly by using inorganic compound as electron transport layer. In this work, the electrical and optical properties of different electron transport materials (TiO2, ZnO, Cds, and CuO) have been compared. The GPVDM simulation tool was applied for the above work. Copper oxide and Zinc oxide thin films were prepared using Chemical Bath Deposition Technique and SILAR method respectively and were annealed at 400 °C to study film characterization. The result shows that Cupric Oxide (CuO) is the most promising electron transport material, achieving 7.14% power conversion efficiency on the basis of low costing and its performance compared to other materials. From UV-VIS spectroscopy the optical band gap of CuO and ZnO were determined.
