The Internet of Things (IoT) is a communication concept that connects different devices, people, processes, and data to enable seamless communication with each other. IoT integration combines devices, data, platforms, and applications with IT assets to make end-to-end IoT businesses interoperable. The certainty of arrival of public transportation services is one of the important factors that determines the reliability its service. A reliable transportation system with accurate travel time information provided to the public will enhance the shift of commuters from private vehicles to public transportation. In this study, an end-to-end solution that can provide real-time navigation guidance about the buses operating to and from an educational institution is developed. Due to the limitations in the usage of existing GPS module in the institute buses, an android-based application has been developed to help users determine the current location of the bus and the route using the information sent by the driver.
