Nanocarriers in Imaging

Nanocarriers are important components having different structures, geometries, and components. These have different affinity for the endothelial adhesion molecules and are prone to inflammation. Different imaging modalities like ultrasound, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), can be used the nanoparticle probes and are capable of use in preclinical and clinical imaging. Drug delivery is an important entity that will have different anti-inflammatory agents, having different actions like antioxidants. This chapter will give a brief overview of the use of the various nanocarriers in the diagnosis as well as therapeutics in nanomedicine.
