Nanoparticle Design
摘要
The term nanotechnology is for the design, creation, and manipulation of the structures that are measured in the nanometer scale. The nanotechnology development has led to more focused applications that are used for imaging and also theronostics. These newer nanoparticles, which have specific multifunctional capabilities, have become an important component of molecular imaging, resulting in more focused novel therapeutics for molecular targets. Nanoparticle contrast agents are now available for the existing imaging modalities. Along with this, various in vitro and in vivo animal studies are also in clinical use. Despite nanoparticles are not being used with full potential in tumor imaging and therapy. The use in interventional radiology is also seen as the major advantage for the delivery of nanoparticles under guidance.
