Nanoparticles are an important biomedical application due to extensive research and emerging applications. The most commonly applied ones are in oncology and are helpful in the imaging evaluation of various cancers for aspects like diagnosis, drug delivery, gene delivery, bioseparation, hyperthermia, phototherapy, chemotherapy, imaging mechanisms, and various other applications. Due to their multifunctional capabilities, they are used in various applications as they are easily moldable and are now being used as theranostic agents as well.
