Medial Sural Perforator Free Flap for Head and Neck Reconstructions

The head and neck reconstructions could be categorized into three major areas. The one is the facial surface reconstruction including all facial subunits such as forehead, nose, eyelid, lip, and cheek. The other is facial skeletal and muscular reconstruction such as the facial muscles and nerves. The last one is the intraoral and pharyngeal reconstructions. In narrower sense of head and neck reconstructions, this type of reconstruction is regarded as the head and neck reconstruction especially for the head and neck cancer management.
