摘要

The objective of the research was to determine the impact of inflation, water and internet infrastructure on Peru’s national competitiveness. For this purpose, econometric analysis with logarithms was used, using the ordinary least squares (OLS) method. The results indicate that the infrastructure factor, represented by the variable households that have access to water and households that have access to the internet, have a negative impact on national productivity, with a greater negative impact on the variable households that have access to water. It is evident that public policies in the period have not been adequate, efficient or effective. The economic performance factor represented by the inflation variable has an important positive incidence since its coefficient is equal to 4.585311; a paradoxical situation according to what we generally establish in academic analysis and logic.
