Mental health is an important aspect of life that affects overall well-being. Mental Health is termed as the state of mind’s well-being which helps people to better understand of situations and make better decisions. Mental illness is one of the biggest issues in society and one of the most ignored ones too. Even though society is becoming aware of the importance of having good mental health and treating mental illness, the real challenge is getting rightly diagnosed, that too in the early stage of illness. It is observed that data science can help medical experts understand and analysing data in a more efficient manner. It will help them understand patients and their condition as well as patients can get more efficient treatment. This paper will explore various machine learning algorithms and data analysis techniques for predicting and analysing mental health problems.
