Technological Helpline: An Attempt to Tackle Health Problems in Refugee Camps
摘要
Providing healthcare for refugees has consistently posed a difficult undertaking for society. The Syrian refugee crisis has brought the problem to the forefront. The World Health Organization (WHO) devised a “Health for All” initiative aimed at guaranteeing equitable healthcare access to all refugees. Technology can have a substantial impact on delivering healthcare services to refugees. The progress in technology has facilitated the convenient availability of healthcare services, enhancing the overall health and well-being of refugees and this can be achieved by introducing blockchain-based identity cards so that the reliability toward the middlemen may be reduced and Refugees can get the maximum benefit in the camps via technology.
