High-Performance GIS Platform
摘要
High-performance GIS is very different from traditional GIS in terms of architecture. Data management, geo-analysis calculations, and visualization are all done on high-performance servers. This chapter takes the high-performance geographic information system platform HiGIS developed by the National University of Defense Technology as an example to introduce the platform architecture of high-performance GIS and data management, parallel computing, and parallel rendering engines.
