Online Mapping and Visualization

Data browsing and mapping in the web environment are becoming popular. The need for large-scale data presentation in modern GIS has also evolved. For large-scale vector data, the challenges of visualization and analysis are more severe due to the time-consuming process of vector operation. This book introduces the display-oriented vector visual analysis technology, and provides ideas for the visual analysis of large-scale vector data. In response to the real-time rendering and interactivity requirements of large-scale 3D scenes on the web, browsers need to quickly request, obtain, parse, and render massive 3D model data. Therefore, from the perspective of the data model, it has become an urgent need to build an index and organization structure that can be quickly transmitted, parsed and rendered by browsers. At the same time, in order to reduce the rendering pressure on the client, data scheduling is also particularly important for the final rendering effect.
