A combined beam array can improve the transmitting power of a wireless optical communication antenna and the ability of the beam to suppress atmospheric turbulence. Array beam synthesis can increase beam transmission distance, which is also needed in an optical MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) system, which is beneficial to suppressing atmospheric turbulence and increasing channel capacity. This chapter discusses the propagation characteristics of array beam synthesis in atmospheric turbulence.

摘要

A combined beam array can improve the transmitting power of a wireless optical communication antenna and the ability of the beam to suppress atmospheric turbulence.
