Study on Constructability Management for Nuclear Power Project

The management for nuclear power project is an interfacing and integrating activities, such as engineering, quality assurance, procurement and so on. Constructability management is also one of the essential relevant issues. The constructability problems will lead to difficulties in construction or rework on-site, which will directly resulting in schedule delays and increased costs. The importance of constructability to project success and other benefits have motivated the nuclear industry to understand and enhance project constructability. Through research on the constructability management of nuclear power projects, this paper analyzes the influencing factors and provides some good practices based on experiences. These findings can help improve the constructability management of nuclear power projects.
