A New Fault Diagnosis Method for Reactor System Based on WT-PCA-SDG

摘要

Advanced fault diagnosis technology for the reactor system is crucial for improving nuclear power plants’ economy, safety, and reliability. Many existing methods can’t reproduce internal fault propagation, hindering operators’ understanding. This paper proposes a new fault diagnosis method based on WT-PCA-SDG, combining quantitative calculation and qualitative analysis. It sequentially completes fault feature extraction, fault identification, and fault tracing. To verify its effectiveness, a dual loop pressurized water reactor was used as the research object, developing a corresponding fault diagnosis system. The experimental results show high accuracy and strong adaptability in all 5 typical fault conditions. This method helps operators understand the reactor system’s status and internal fault propagation, offering good application value.
