Fault Diagnosis Expert System for Medium Voltage Three-Phase Asynchronous Motors Based on Fuzzy Neural Nets

Fuzzy neural nets absorb the advantages of fuzzy logic and neural nets to become a hybrid intelligent system, which is a hot spot of intelligent algorithm research currently. This paper analyses the fault modes and causes of medium voltage three-phase asynchronous motors based on a large dataset of operation and maintenance data. A sensor measuring point scheme for medium voltage three-phase asynchronous motor is proposed. Finally, based on the basic logic of fuzzy neural nets, an expert system for fault prediction, fault diagnosis and maintenance decision of the medium voltage three-phase asynchronous motor is established.
