Research and Design of RS Signal Module’s K3 Qualification for RPR System in Nuclear Power Station

In response to the serious aging and stop production of the RS signal module of the RPR reactor protection system of the Daya Bay and Ling’ao Phase I NPPs, this paper describes the function and performance of the RS signal module of the reactor protection system, The qualification scheme and test method of RS signal module are discussed in detail. The domestic RS signal module is identified according to the K3 level of nuclear safety requirements. Aiming at the online monitoring requirements in the qualification test, a set of semi-physical simulation test devices are designed and the products passed the field function verification.
