Research and Development on the Improvement of Direction and Velocity Module for In-core Detector

Due to outdated technology and poor stability, the direction and velocity module of the existing in-core instrumentation system in a certain nuclear power plant needs to be improved to avoid frequent failures. This paper designs an improved module for determining the velocity and direction of the in-core detector, which processes the input signals through a series of operations such as data comparison and code conversion, and ultimately converts them into high-low level outputs. This module is debugged and tested on a semi physical simulation testing platform built on LabVIEW, which shows that it can greatly improve the safety and reliability of the in-core instrumentation system with the ability of stable performance, high accuracy, and strong anti-interference.
