Research and Optimization of Intermediate Range Current Mode Switching in Nuclear Instrumentation Systems

The intermediate range current of a nuclear power plant has a plummet during the reactor power increase, and the current value drops by more than 100 times, resulting in the loss of intermediate range monitoring and protection. Through studying the intermediate range, this paper proposes to modify the original software by means of threshold adjustment and logic optimization. After modification, the defect of current drop in the intermediate range during power increase is solved, and the effectiveness of reactor monitoring and protection is guaranteed.
